Builder appointed for 50 social and affordable homes beside Nicholson Road Station

ABN Residential has been appointed to deliver the $32.97 million Tulloch Way project: 31 social homes and 19 affordable rentals across 19 townhouses and 31 apartments.

WHY IT MATTERS

It is a substantial medium-density, build-to-rent development on 8,569 square metres of State land next to high-capacity public transport—and understandably a major local talking point.

WHAT TO DO

Track construction milestones, the community-housing-provider appointment and completion. Do not treat social-media claims about future tenants or impacts as established facts.

Canning Vale Sports Complex moved toward detailed design procurement

The City of Canning announced an early-July tender for architectural services for the proposed sports complex; civil works such as roads, parking and drainage sit outside that design scope.

WHY IT MATTERS

The tender is a project-development milestone, not confirmation that the complete complex is funded or under construction.

WHAT TO DO

Watch the awarded design contract, business case, funding and construction approvals.

Bracadale Park access works added parking and an ACROD bay

The City of Gosnells scheduled new parallel parking on Shreeve Road and conversion of an existing bay to an ACROD bay, with completion indicated for August.

WHY IT MATTERS

Small access changes matter to users of the all-abilities playground and enclosed dog park, especially where parking pressure is already visible.

WHAT TO DO

Check the project page for completion status and any changed access arrangements.

Ranford Road bus-priority works remain a traffic and access watch

The City of Gosnells project adds peak-period bus-priority lanes between Nicholson Road and Campbell Road, with associated intersection works planned as night works.

WHY IT MATTERS

Construction and the eventual lane operation can affect travel times, turning movements and access along a heavily used corridor.

WHAT TO DO

Use the project page for current timing and traffic-management notices before travelling through works.
