$145 million Swan Active Ellenbrook is under construction
Construction began in February on the regional aquatic and recreation centre north of Ellenbrook Station, with opening expected near the end of 2027.
WHY IT MATTERS
This is the City of Swan's largest project and will materially expand regional sport, recreation and family facilities close to the rail terminus.

Consultation on a proposed payment-in-lieu-of-parking plan has closed. The draft would direct eligible contributions from future developments toward walking, cycling, shade and streetscape improvements.
